Midlands Multi-Purpose Health Centre Stage 1

Macquarie Builders were contracted to complete the refurbishment and extension of the Midlands Multi-Purpose Health Centre in Oatlands, Tasmania. The development reflects the builder’s expertise, strengthening vital regional healthcare infrastructure through a carefully planned and expertly executed project.
Works were completed in two stages. Stage A included the addition of a new residential care wing, comprising 8 modern bedrooms and ensuites, complete with various enabling equipment, nurse’s station, staff facilities and storage areas. Stage B involved a comprehensive refurbishment of the existing Callington Wing. These upgrades will increase care capacity, enhance patient comfort, and greatly improve working conditions for staff. The extent of the works showcases Macquarie Builders’ extensive knowledge in complex construction, particularly within operational environments where quality and safety are paramount.
The Midlands Multi-Purpose Health Centre reinforces the builder’s reputation for reliability, precision and construction excellence, and provides a fundamental healthcare asset for Tasmania’s Heartlands. This project was completed in September 2024.
