Macquarie Builders were selected to complete a fit-out for leading insurance provider Allianz Australia based in Hobart, Tasmania. This project is a testament to Macquarie Builders’ refined detailing, technical precision, and expert workmanship.

Original windows and structural details were preserved with meticulous care, then complemented by exposed brick, extensive custom joinery and furniture installations, incorporating Tasmanian oak and premium finishes. The result is an outstanding transformation, showcasing seamless integration of contemporary design elements, while honouring the buildings’ original character.

The construction team have demonstrated a high level of skill in navigating the multiple challenges of working at height, and working within and around not only existing tenancies, but also within a busy CBD precinct. Challenging access demanded precision in crane coordination and traffic management. The safety of workers, office staff and the public was prioritized at every stage.

The project was completed in January 2025, and exemplifies exceptional craftsmanship, collaboration, and commitment to quality in a highly concentrated setting.
