HRC Franklin Kitchen Refurbishment

Macquarie Builders were selected for the refurbishment of the kitchen and lounge area at Huon Regional Care in Franklin, Tasmania. This project sets a new benchmark for bespoke residential construction through close collaboration and excellent workmanship.

Major activities involved careful demolition, carpentry and joinery, applied finishes, and fire building services demanding heavy safety protocols. Typical challenges associated with the original building fabric have been addressed through innovative construction methodologies, allowing new works to integrate seamlessly with existing structures. The refurbishment delivers a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen that will provide greater facilities for Senior Tasmanian’s, as well as supporting jobs and the local economy. Macquarie Builders have completed work for Huon Regional Care previously, including a refurbishment of the HRC Nurses Accommodation in Franklin, and alterations and additions to Esperance Aged Care Facility in Dover.
