Macquarie Builders were chosen by Hungry Jacks National Management Team to construct the new Hungry Jacks in Glenorchy, Tasmania. This project reinforces the builder’s reputation for construction excellence and reliable project delivery.

After a destructive fire last year, the restaurant underwent a complete reconstruction. Major activities included blockwork, steel framing, carpentry and custom joinery, executed with perfect alignment, and skilfully constructed to maximise space on a compact corner site. Incorporating contemporary design features, digital ordering kiosks, dual-lane drive-thru access and a renewed playground; to enrich the customer experience and improve operational efficiency. The development will support jobs and the local economy, with many of the original employees returning to their positions.

Delivered on a tight schedule, the project demanded rigorous planning, coordination and construction expertise. In doing so, it has maintained and strengthened a positive client relationship, and the excellence of the completed work is indicative of the builder’s commitment to quality project delivery. The project was completed ahead of schedule in June 2025.
