Macquarie Builders were chosen by The Kalis Group to construct two major buildings in Margate, Tasmania. This large-scale project exemplifies exceptional craftsmanship, resourcefulness, and collaborative excellence across all stakeholders.

 Scope of works involved major concrete and precast works, structural steel, and extensive civil works, comprising two double-storey retail buildings, containing approximately 16 shops and offices, and a rear 200-space car park. Featuring double glazing, integrated lighting, and bespoke joinery; all executed with precision. The extent and quality of materials used, the workmanship in their fabrication and installation, and the industry-leading innovation in their use make this a great showcase of Macquarie Builders’ expertise.

 The project demanded rigorous planning, coordination and construction expertise, which Macquarie Builders managed professionally and confidently. The development will establish new employment opportunities for local residents, and provide greater access to services, an invaluable asset to the Margate community.
