Clarence City Council have contracted Macquarie Builders to construct a new child care and outside school hours care facility building at Alma Street, Bellerive. Works include demolition and construction of a new building including landscape and playground works.

Refurbishment of the Water’s Edge accommodation (40 rooms) and Riviera corridors at Wrest Point Casino in Sandy Bay. Macquarie Builders had recently completed refurbishments to the Casino’s Riverview Gaming area, WC’s & Corridors, the Mezzanine, Smokehouse Restaurant, Kitchen, Cocktail Bar, Reception, Club Forte, Showroom, Plant Room and External Civil Works in 2022.

This project consists of an expansion of the Dover Medical Centre in Southern Tasmania to meet the demands of patients needing care, upgrading the facilities to a modern standard and improving accessibility.

A multi-million-dollar shopping complex project is finally underway after an extensive 7-year delay. The development includes two two-storey buildings containing approximately 16 shops and offices that will face the Channel Highway with a 200 space carpark.

Blundstone Arena Entry Gates
Blundstone Arena – North & South Entry Gates Refurbishment

Macquarie builders were chosen for the refurbishment of the North and South entry gates at Blundstone Arena in Bellerive. The works consisting of demolition, concrete works, structural steel work, roofing, metal work and electrical services. This will improve patron experience and safety at the venue as well as improving and modernising the user experience for sporting codes accessing the facility.

Macquarie Builders were chosen to negotiate the upgrade of the traditional Claremont Hotel, consisting of demolition, alterations and additions to the Restaurant, Kitchen, Bar and Reception, as well as External Works.

Derwent Barracks Buildings

Building 49 at Derwent Barracks has office accommodation, garage facilities supported by a kitchenette and amenities. This project is aimed to upgrade these facilities to a modern standard and improve some minor safety hazards. Building 227 is to be extended including design and reconstruction of a shower block. Building 228 is to be repurposed to provide short term multi user bunk accommodation facilities.

Macquarie builders were contracted to complete more projects for Skretting Australia based in Cambridge. Details of works consists of upgrades to the packing line and works at the bagging tower, intake building and intake road. A warehouse extension is also currently underway. The project commenced in February 2023 and the projected completion date is the 5th June, 2023.
